Stuck In Thought (Discomfort Project)

This was the final for my 2D Composition class. The goal was to make a series of nine images and arrange them all into one cohesive piece. I had the idea of a brain not only made of flesh, but also human figures that surrounds this gritty man in the middle. The brain stem and hands reaching to the man are purposefully out of the 3x3 block in the middle to represent their separation from that man.
